Jasmine Chang, Meredith Putman, and Shanthani Kue are the recipients of UnitedOne Credit Union’s three $1,000 scholarships for the 2025-26 academic year.
Chang is a senior at Sheboygan North High School. Her career goal is to become a dental hygienist after attending Lakeshore Technical College.
“I’ve realized that I’m drawn to fields where I can help others, whether that’s through offering guidance, providing support, or creating positive change in the community,” Chang said.Putman is a senior at CLEVELAND, WI – Lakeshore College was named a Military Friendly School for the 16th consecutive year by Viqtory, a national organization that connects the military community to educational and entrepreneurial opportunities and civilian employment.
The college was again recognized by Viqtory for 2025-26, with input from the Military Friendly Advisory Council of independent leaders in the higher education and military recruitment community, for this award and being a Military Spouse Friendly School in the CLEVELAND, WI – Lakeshore College has been awarded $1.7 million in grants from the Wisconsin Technical College System.
Grant funds will be used to expand Lakeshore’s heating, ventilation, and air conditioning installation program and maintenance mechanic program. In addition, funding will support purchasing equipment for Lakeshore’s recently renovated and expanded Community Dental Clinic to support a new dental hygiene program launching in fall 2026.
